PROPOSAL FOR A GLOBAL CONCERT IN KENYA DUBBED
“YES
WE KEN’’ IN HONOR OF THE FAMILY OF BARACK OBAMA*
The proposed Global Concert, to be organised in Kenya is meant to
bridge the gap between the US and Africa (uniting the people of Kenya, all
African and other Nations wishing to participate).
This Global Concert is an occasion to honour the family of the
US-President elect, Barack Obama. At
the same time, the aim actually is to help the world’s peoples, including
Africans in particular, to know that reconciliation matters in terms of
development and peace.
Kenya is therefore the perfect place to have such a concert, taking
into consideration the recent elections. The transition from cheating and
racism that has been ruling the people for many years now can change. Obama has
stated in many of his speeches, “We Are The Ones We Have Been Waiting For.”
Before Obama announced his candidacy for President of the United
States, Francine Jarry (Canada, Rainbow
Music) had created an original song for ABC4All Mentors based on Hopi
tradition: “We Are The Ones (we have
been waiting for)” found at:

Francine thus antedated Obama’s call: “We Are One.” Now this ABC4All Web Page commemorates as
well the election of the new President with so much HOPE being restored across the world.
In order to demonstrate that we are all one, people from
America and all walks of life including Africa and other continents will be
part of the concert as entertainers, performers, dancers, and so on.
The fact that honesty has won over lies and deception shows that the
majority of the world cares and wants peace. The word “racism” must be deleted
from our minds for us to make progress in terms of development and peace in the
world.
This concert will therefore bring together entertainers -- musicians,
dancers and other performers from the US, Africa and the rest of the world. The
time has come for a global shift
that will attract people from all over the world and give birth to the new love
revolution on a global level, thereby allowing for the reinstillation of HOPE across the world.
NOTE: 100% of profits/monies
raised from this concert will be donated to charitable organisations in
Kenya.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
There was no Obama in the 1960’s to give power to the people and
represent what they stood for. That is
why so many lost sight of the dream. We must keep the dream alive, hence the
need for the proposed Obama concert in Kenya.
The Concert, dubbed: “YES WE KEN,” would have the grandmother of Barack
Obama in Kenya speak to the world as the special guest of honour.She will be
representing the motherland of Barack Obama.
CONCERT DESCRIPTION
The global concert, “YES WE KEN” will be staged in Kenya for a whole
night. The concert will be presented with messages from sponsors, invited
guests and the selling, sharing, distribution of Obama paraphernalia.
DVDs will be prepared after the concert for sale to those who could not
be part of the program to also have a feel of the historic proposed “YES WE
KEN” program.
Tickets sales will generate funds, with 100% profits going to
charitable organisations in Kenya.
NEEDED RESOURCES
1.
Airfare
for the musicians and organisers coming to the concert. Performers would be
coming from the US, Ghana, and other parts of the world.
2.
Media
coverage which would reach the rest of the world in their homes
3.
Recordable
DVDs to record the entire concert and dubbed for sale.
4.
Printing
of the Obama T-shirts, and other paraphernalia including caps, wristbands,
badges, etc. Some of these would be either sold out or distributed out to participants and
some sold out for monies with 100% going to charitable organisations.
5.
Performers-Artists
and dancers from Africa, America and
elsewhere.
6.
Accommodation
in Kenya for the organisers and participants for the short stay in Kenya (for
at least a week).
7.
A
Live Feed on the Internet so the concert can be brought into any location in
the world where there is access to the Internet, together with a “Donate”
button with 100% of proceeds donated earmarked for Kenyan charitable
organizations.

SPONSOR BENEFITS OF THE PROGRAM
The sponsors will benefit since every program will have a time for the
acknowledgement of the sponsors.
The name of the sponsors will also be mentioned on air at one-hour
timed intervals.
Sponsors’
products will be featured and will increase the number of customers of the
products that will offer an opportunity for the sponsor to gain more on the
market front. Products can be offered
from socially conscious companies who will also support Global Humanitarian
Relief.
