VOLUNTEER/ASSISTANCE OPPORTUNITIES

Opportunity for PC Angel Volunteer Widget-maker

HI to all ABC4All Mentors,

This is Wilfried from Germany.
I'm the CoCreator of the Universal Peace Calendar and on may 16th just has started a wave of LOVE.

To spread the awareness of the quality of each precious day worldwide the next step is to create a gadget for the daily signs and texts of the Universal Peace Calendar. See www.UniversalPeaceCalendar.com

or http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H1vg2AFEkCo

I've already seen it in a dream at iGoogle e.g. but my html-knowledge is not sufficient to create a gadget on my own.

I need someone who has that knowledge and is willing to do it together with me.

Then we can put it daily at http://ABC4All.net and export it easily to other websites as well.

So please send me an PC-angel who is able to give the UPC wings

Love from germany,

Wilfried Fink

*Make a Difference in Ghana, Volunteer Through a
Program That is Flexible and Reasonably Priced*

We are inviting everyone to help us make a big change
in the rural communities of the Volta Region of Ghana.
Through HardtHaven Volunteers you have the opportunity
to travel to Ghana and make a difference in the lives
of needy children and the lives of those in the
communities they come from. We are a very small
organization, which gives us great flexibility and we
can customize your volunteer experience. You can make
your stay as short as 2 weeks or as long as 2 years,
you can stay with a local family or at our Children’s
Home, and you can choose where you want to work. It is
all up to you. We have placements in orphanages, day
care centers, schools, hospital wards, schools for the
disabled, community development projects, in
HIV/TB/Malaria prevention and more. Cultural lessons
and short in-country tours can also be arranged. We
cannot pretend to remedy the serious social and
economic problems of the countries where we work and
send volunteers, but we can set you up to be busy, be
effective, and make a lasting difference in the lives
of those who need it most.

Wiring Uganda With Vision

January 27th, 2007

In the summer of 2006, Clovis Ategeka, downloaded our Vision Force 101 program. His story begins here. Fast forward 6 months and Clovis has rented space for his Vision Cafe. Now the workshops and classes he leads can be held indoors, and his students who are learning to be visionaries and entrepreneurs can connect to a global community through the internet… But first, they need to secure internet access. Currently internet service is monopolized by two companies and is quite difficult to come by. It takes a substantial investment to secure internet access for his cafe. $3,400 will do it, and we’ll provide his cost breakdown and business plan upon request. Start helping Clovis get his cafe wired by making a contribution through this secure funding opion: ChipIn:

On behalf of Clovis and all his students, we thank you!

TANZANIA

Hello Burt

Happy New Year, Its my hope everything is doing well over there, am so sorry for being so quite for so long, I was traveling to my grandparents village in Kilimajaro its about 8hrs to travel from where am living, my grandfather is sick, so I went to look after him but he is also too old he is 99yrs old so I spent time over there.

When I was there I also got time to pass to our neighbors villages that are leaving around my grandfather house.

I was really touched with about two family who are living in hard life, I manage to photo them, I met this old women in the first photo called Bernadette is 72yrs old, she is staying with her five grandson after most of their parents  passed away, as you can see  on this picture of five children from left is Ever Peter is 4 yrs old, Rozi Michael 7yrs old, Deo Fransic 5yrs old,Richard Simon 15yrs old and last on is Julius August 7yrs old, life of this family for sure its very hard because they depend on grandmother who is also old cant work so they remain begging from friends sometimes they sleep without taking food they are really suffering like Ever Peter 4yrs old he is suffering of Malnutrition, I feel sorry for the they don’t go school, just stay at home.

The second picture is Mr. Francis Tomaa Lyimo, he is 44yrs old, he is staying with his three daughters after her wife passed away from left is Janeth is 12 yrs old, Zenais is 10yrs old and last one is Esta she is 2yrs old.The father is a farmer is trying at least to get food for his children he ask help for his children to go school because they don’t have school fee and school equipment like school uniforms, text books, pen and pencils.

I was touched with this family in problems which they face please if you have anything to help this children let do it le us save the life of this children and make it good. Looking forward to hear from you. If you will like to keep in touch with one of the family please just contact me.
