ABOUT ANISHA MOORE-JOHNSON: Ms. Moore-Johnson is a Masters of Public Health Student in the Department of Health Education at San Francisco State University. She believes in equitable community health both locally and internationally. She has been working in Maternal and Child Health as a health educator for over 7 years and has been involved in many projects aimed at advocating for the health of women and adolescents. She has specific experience working with populations who are vulnerable to infectious disease, community violence and communities of color. Currently Ms. Moore-Johnson is working on a research project funded by National Institute for Health (NIH) and preparing to embark on a trip to Uganda to conduct a community health assessment among rural Ugandan mothers.
