Annual Achievement Recognition Day!
The process of creating the second Local ABC4All/Somaliland Event is getting underway.
The aim is to show true success and positive progress that can occur through harmonizing our efforts from a distance:ABC4All Mentor Plato Oluwezi termed this "Distance Harmony," as is quoted at the "World Communication" ABC4All Web Page: http://abc4all.net/introwc.htm
The Local ABC4All/Somaliland Mentoring TEAM continues its efforts to realize what can be done when we unite.
Reasons for launching the event
The reason for launching this event is to launch the first Local ABC4All/Somaliland Achievement Recognition and to sustain it with annual honors and awards for people who make their best contributions.Mr. Hassan Awale will be given the 2007 Local ABC4All/Somaliland Award. This Award can stimulate contributions to Local ABC4All/Somaliland. On the other hand, this event will be held before the school year in order to secure more scholarships for youth. What is needed to plan for and create this event is very little when compared to its expected outcome.
In the first Local ABC4All/Somaliland event, there was a limitation of the number of people who were able to contribute, but we will create the means to show that small communities can do better if they honestly work together to help make communities become better for all.
Objectives
To publicize the Local ABC4All/Somaliland event to the attention of possible contributing stakeholders and to make a presentation about ABC4All.
To acknowledge the valuable contribution offered by Mr. Hassan Awale and to provide the honor of an award for his good start.
To attract more contributing members to Local ABC4All/Somaliland.
