MAKING THE WORLD ABC4All

Women and children are the most affected people in any given disaster, be it man made or natural. During the Civil Crisis of the first cease fire in Liberia, which affected almost every Liberian and for which I am no exception, Women were seen in the medium of sex, all in the name of obtaining food for the survival of their children.

Children were abandoned by parents due to the lack of food and shelter. Mothers were forced into sex trade for the support of the young ones. Love and passion for humanity led me to organize a plan to meet the needs of these less fortunate women and abandoned children.
We began by soliciting through a project dubbed, "Food For Work." Food gathered from the work is distributed among the people. Through this means, many who were subjected to abject poverty through war were given hope.

Expansion: The program was extended into empowering skills training for women and academics for the children. Through volunteers and good will of many people, materials were made available for the construction of hostels for the women and children.

But what actually can help in MAKING OUR WORLD ABC4All is to look at the crucial needs of the following in numbers:

RELIEF, WELFARE AND HUMANATARIAN SERVICES

1. Helping to organize relief and rehabilitation assistance to the under-privileged Communities in the World.

2. Providing food, Shelter, Clothing, and Medicare for refugee women and children in the under-privileged communities in Africa and other parts of the World.

3. Provide for victims of Earthquakes, Flooding, Arson, Land slides and Droughts in the World.

ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT

1. Helping to create Vocational or Skills Training opportunities for the women and children in evidently disadvantaged communities in Africa and other poor nations.

2. Establishing Micro-Credit facilities for the women in evidently disadvantaged parts of the World.

3. Supporting management training opportunities for the NGOs and their beneficiaries as potential businesses in the World.

SPIRITUAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

1. Working with Spiritual Leaders in communities of the World to encourage and ensure religious tolerance at the expense fundamentalism.

2. Supporting Moral Education for women and children in Africa and other poor nations.
