ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF PARTICIPATION WITH ABC4ALL: Appreciation was expressed for the participation of all present (and those absent) in ABC4All’s developing programs now in the implementation stage.

INTRODUCTION TO MINUTES OF LAUNCH LUNCH : One of the feedback comments presented below offers a quotation from Margaret Mead: "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it's the only thing that ever has." In the September 2004 issue of Natural Health, there is an article on "Your True Nature – We Can Be Heroes." In that article, there is reference to the fact that "There is integrity in every attempt, large or small, to make the world a better place." Next appears the following quotation from Albert Schweitzer: "A man can do only what a man can do, but if he does that each day he can sleep at night and do it again the next day."

MYIA: PAST AND PRESENT: MYIA representatives were not able to be present, but were originally involved with ABC4All and Nutrition and Kids (NAK) dating back to 08/03: http://www.prweb.com/releases/2003/8/prweb77732.htm.

WHAT WOULD MAKE YOUR PERSONAL COMMUNITY BETTER FOR ALL? Participants wrote a few ideas that came to mind to answer this question prior to the presentations:

1. High school. 2. Library (new).  3. Better meeting of the minds.

1. People thinking more about others and less about themselves. 2. People taking responsibility for their actions and the impact of those actions on others and the earth.

My better community for all is a world that embraces diversity and communities that are working and interacting together as one.

The community where everyone respects/appreciates each other for who each is; the community where each person can fully explore who s/he can be.

A better community to me means more tolerance and understanding between the inhabitants. All persons are entitled to a safe environment free from violence, hatred and pollutants.

I believe that our health and generally life depends on the water quality. So, I am happy to share what I developed and hopefully this water treatment technology will help all our community.

Giving. Service.

I would like to see my community get together and share thoughts, cares and good times at least once every two weeks. I would like to have a monthly and an annual community project that we could all use our collective talents for. Health, well-being, laughter and music abound.

Dave Wade-Stein acted as moderator. Dave related his involvement with ABC4All following his posting on the Blog of Morgan Spurlock (www.supersizeme.com) that allowed Burton Danet to contact him. The expression of mutual interests in improving school nutrition paved the way for immediate involvement by Dave with the ABC4All effort and later assuming the position of VP and Director of Programs. Dave has been involved with a record company and a managing company, helping to arrange for a band that provided music for a documentary supporting the Appalachian Trail.

Bob Chew has acquired capability of Philanthropic Development Officer (PDO) for the National Heritage Foundation (www.nhf.org). This enables Bob, also as Co-Founder and VP Business Development for ABC4All, to bring any group into nonprofit status within 7-10 business days (rather than 6-18 months via IRS) under auspices of NHF. Bob related his involvement with the development of ABC4All for the past 5.5 years, helping to take it from the original "Partnerships for a Better Community (PBC)" to the preferred "A Better Community 4All (ABC4All)." Among the first set of nonprofits created under NHF auspices: Multicultural Youth-in-Action (MYIA) and the Foundation of A Better Community For All (FABC) – http://www.nhffoundations.net/FriendsofABC4All. Bob continues his intimate involvement with business plans and development, including funding and similar matters such as those required for CHEN4All and other programs.

ABC4All has been in the forefront of potentially revolutionary cutting-edge health information (some of which is shared today with presentations on Plasma Activated Water (PAW) and Cignet Thermo-Peutic™ total body therapy). These and other areas of interest have led to the development of the concepts of the "8-petal approach," originally conceived of by Bob Chew, and the coinage of the terms, "ABC4AllWorldSolutions!"™ and Health Heights™. Burton Danet focused on "The Big Picture – Trio of Foci" (attached) with particular emphasis on programmatic aspects relating to FUNdraising(Nutrition and Kids, The Giving Card, ABC4ALLGGG or The Triple Giving Program™). Current emphasis is on a model program for school nutrition/exercise in collaboration with Huck-Fin Environmental Education (HFEE) in Sweetwater Union High School District (SUHSD), San Diego. The pilot study school is identified as the Castle Park Middle School in Chula Vista, CA with 1427 students. Emphasis on need for comprehensive community-wide action now to overcome the problems associated with obesity and related ills, many of which have been caused by poor nutrition/exercise habits. Multiple fundraising components are included in CHEN4All. The successful nutrition program of Natural Ovens Bakery (www.naturalovens.com) will be followed wherever possible. Also attached in the appendix: The original poem, "A Better Community For All (Final Frontier?);" Introduction to ABC4All including "From a Lifetime of Rehabilitation to Making the World a Better Place;" Proposal: Toyota Prius By-the-Hour Services (BTHS); ABC4All links.

Juliette shared her newly developed interest in exploring what ABC4All is all about. Her background includes involvement with political and nonprofit interests with current clients striving for $1 million + in funding. She has contacts that can facilitate grant writing activities as well as knowledge of, and contacts within, communities that include Chula Vista, CA, the site for the CHEN4All pilot.

Dr. Gebrosky described the ever-building momentum of NAK and referred to a number of examples representing a small sampling of the many, many endorsements his program has received nationwide. With all the interest that has developed, NAK is poised to offer schools and nonprofits an alternative fundraiser to the traditional cookies, candy, etc. Sample CD-ROMs of the game, "Nutrition and Kids Adventures," were handed out to those present.

Art Armagost presented an overview of The Giving Card (www.thegivingcard.com). Not an independent credit card, TGC is a program offering no-risk sign-up for any cardholder/consumer, for any type of credit card (including affinity cards) and for any or all merchants in a community. Together members of a community can then utilize TGC program to create virtually unlimited contributions to a charity of choice by choosing to patronize those merchants signed with TGC. With affinity card registered with TGC, there now develops two simultaneous "micropayments" that can be earmarked for a favorite charity. [ABC4All’s mission is to maximize such contributions with eventually developing a continuous matching (doubling) program. Thus TGC becomes the cornerstone of ABC4ALLGGG or "The Triple Giving Program™."]

Dave related the degree of interest already piqued within the Sweetwater Union High School District (SUHSD) to offer support for CHEN4All: http://www.prweb.com/releases/2004/11/prweb178191.php

With 18 years of background working within SUHSD, HFEE has the ability to enlist the cooperation of many across the district and within individual schools (starting with the proposed pilot school, the Castle Park Middle School) to create the cooperation necessary to implement CHEN4All. As a community-wide effort, there must be additional involvement of community components – politicians, Chamber of Commerce/businesses, Parent Teachers Organization, etc. Dave has developed a strong program emphasizing the environment and envisions a more comprehensive program that will include healthy nutrition and exercise. He has contacts within the SUHSD that can facilitate making a concert venue available (Coor’s Amphitheatre http://www.chulavistaca.gov/Attraction/coors.asp) with seating up to 10,000 and an additional 10,000 on the lawn.

GEORGE PASKALOV, PH.D. CHIEF SCIENTIST, HYDRO ENTERPRISES, INC. George presented and demonstrated the plasma technology involved in the development of Plasma Activated Water (PAW). He referred to the three pH levels which can be created (2.5 pH for sterilization purposes, 9.5 pH for drinking purposes, and 11.0 pH for medicinal purposes). Endless applications of this water in many industries are already documented in research as described on the HEI website (www.hydroent.com): Agricultural Produce, Shelf Life Extension, Medical Sanitation, Oil Industry De-scaling, Municipal Water and Waste Treatment, Swimming Pool Water Treatment, etc. Burton Danet relayed how consumption of 9.5 pH PAW has dramatically improved his and Marsha’s well being, with his improvements documented in "before and after" pictures, with a case report published 06/01/04 which only hints at the unimaginable health benefits resulting from consumption of PAW: www.prweb.com/releases/2004/6/prweb127499.htm

Haekyung described the "Elevator Mechanism" technology in the Cignet Thermo-Peutic™ innovative thermal massage bed. This treatment bed offers acupressure, massage and moxibustion including penetrating far infrared heat rays via jade stones that can lead to many health improvements across a wide age range of individuals (with or without health challenges). Treatment is totally customizable and programmable for the individual. Burton Danet (who has benefited greatly from this total body therapy) and ABC4All have developed a contractual arrangement enabling the sales of Cignet Thermo-Peutic in USA with private demonstrations of the technology available in Los Angeles by prior appointment: www.abc4all.net/cignet.htm. Burton Danet’s case report has attracted inquiries about Cignet Thermo-Peutic™ from all over the world: www.prweb.com/releases/2004/1/prweb98516.php

Enlightened Health Corp. (EHC), formed in 2004, is dedicated to serving all populations to provide alternative health care services through emerging technologies as well as alternative therapies such massage, acupuncture, chiropractic, nutritional therapies to educate humans to their right to good health and preventative care modalities. EHC was founded by Kathleen Merholz, CMT, massage therapist. Joining her on the Board of EHC are psychologists Heather Gray, Ph.D. and Saxon Govender, Ph.D.

Research studies with thermal acupressure massage beds will be underway in 2005 at the University of Natal, South Africa, conducted by Reuben Govender, M.D. Dr. Govender is researching the therapeutic effects of such thermal treatment on HIV/AIDS patients as well as homeopathic/nutritional regimens. The research will be conducted in conjunction with a World Health Organization funded two-year study. Also, EHC has established an agreement with ABC4All, Inc. to make available Cignet Thermo-Peutic™ throughout North America.

Steve shared his many activities as well as his focus on his John Denver Tribute (http://johndenvertribute.com/). In addition to creating organizations, special events, entertaining, writing children stories, volunteering to many non-profits around the world, Steve is a very proud Dad to his 16-year-old son Benjamin.  Benjamin (or as he liked to be called in elementary school, Mr. Ben) has been traveling and performing with his dad since he was 6 weeks old. Steve has been internationally and nationally recognized for his many talents as a Musician, Entertainer, Songwriter, Poet, Composer, Author, Inventor, Community Program Developer, Educator, Environmentalist and Humanitarian. He has been working with some of the top scientist, environmentalist and health professionals of the country and the world to help disseminate educational information of our current health and environmental issues.

Four years after the release of her eponymous EP, Los Angeles singer-songwriter Julie Tan (http://julietan.com) has put together an impressive collection of 13 songs for her first full-length album, Storage. Opening with "LA 66", a poignant true-story-based lament about disillusionment in the entertainment Mecca of the world told from the point of view of an aging golden-era actor, Storage is multi-dimensional story telling from an engaging artist. Self-produced, this is a musically satisfying album that succeeds in being radio-friendly and sonically polished; yet maintaining the intimacy of the more introspective songs. "At the end of the day, for me, it's all about the songs. I'm a songwriter first, and everything else I do supports my passion for pairing words to music. The arrangements and performances only exist to enhance and showcase the songs", says Julie. Destined for recognition from an early age when she was the valedictorian of her kindergarten class, Julie refined her musical talents while earning a degree from the prestigious Thornton School of music at USC. She helmed the popular Los Angeles band Nobody You Know, opening for Sun 60, Wallflowers and Michael Penn. Her numerous production credits include projects for: Crib, Michelle Malone, and Chris Whitley. Julie shared copies of her single, "Less A Patriot" with those present. Julie has also been involved with marketing efforts for some well-known musicians and artists and may be able to work with ABC4All to facilitate fundraising efforts in this arena.

Robert has been immediately receptive to learning about the concepts and programs of ABC4All. He has been working to develop a relationship with Concerts West, and his humanitarian interests clearly overlap with ABC4All. Burton Danet, coincidentally, was introduced to COL music a few weeks prior to Steve Kern’s issuing an email referencing COL Band. Bob Chew and Steve Kern were able to drive to Huntington Beach to witness a concert by Robert Anthony Aviles (http://www.circlesoflife.net/music/index.htm) and to share mutual interests suggesting that there is potential for collaboration with future ABC4All fundraising activities via the concert venue. In addition to his many talents as a musician, Robert has continued his interest and education in healing. In 1992 he became a certified Reiki healer and from 1993-94, Robert apprenticed under a Native American medicine man, learning, and developing an understanding in working with healing energies. In 1994 Robert started to study astrology. It was then that he began to see the correlation that music had to energy and healing within the human mind and body. He developed ''Star Songs'', whereby an individual could have their astrological chart translated into a musical composition. Each of these "Star Songs" is a completely unique and personal work of art designed to re-enforce the recipient's energy and healing potential. Robert also finds time to lecture on this topic as a key speaker for many astrological conferences and workshops. Robert has also founded Music Research Technologies; an organization devoted to the research of combining music, healing, and spirituality. Robert also teaches and leads large and small groups in Spiritual Awareness, Healing, and Meditation classes. He also holds workshops in Cymatics, the study of the relationship between sound and form, as well as in music, healing, and spirituality. Through it all, Robert has remained a sincere and devout man. He always acknowledges his Creator as being the source of all the gifts he has and is pledged to giving those gifts back to any who want to receive them. A consummate performer, a brilliant artist, and an honest man.

Respectfully submitted,

Burton Danet, Ph.D., Clinical Psychologist (retired)
