THE COMMUNITY SCHOOL PROJECT IN LIBERIA

Regarding the Liberia project,we have discovered  a remote and abandoned community just outside Monrovia, the capital city of Liberia, in West Africa.

This community is without any hospital or health center, poor road network and extreme poverty affecting the majority of the people living in New Keimah Town, Soul Clinic Community in Paynesville, Monsirado County. Monrovia Liberia.

However, there is a local community school helping these disadvantaged children whose parents cannot afford sending them to the  costly schools in the capital city as most of them are extremely poor, living on just one dollar a day and some half dollar a day.

The Nazarine Community School has both primary and junior secondary school for these children. The total number currently is 168 children ages 4 to 18 years.

All the teachers in this school are not being paid, but they are serving as volunteers. This is affects  the learning of the children.  Additionally, the place they are using at the moment is no  longer able to contain all of the children. Besides it is not safe nor conducive for the children.

Therefore, we  are kindly seeking support for the construction project of this  very important community school for these disadvantaged children. We have already secured a good piece of land, and together with some of the children, we have cleared the land, and some local materials like stones, sand etc. are being mobilized for the construction.

The reason we are urgently seeking funding is that few months from now we will start experiencing serious rain falls which could affect their learning process.

On this note, we are including photos of the land, the children in class and out of class.

Thank you once more. Please  help rescue these children who have suffered far too long.

Best Regards,

Sahr Yillia
