This question has been posed now for more
than 11 years since the start of A Better Community for All (ABC4All).
As the years have passed, many of the
responses have been posted online at an ABC4All web page, "Building Better

What do these responses teach us?
1. It is possible for a local community to
take matters into their own hands and create "Local ABC4All Community
Empowerment Day" which was an all-day event in Somaliland. The result? 22

2. It is possible to start Local ABC4All as has already
happened in 10 countries in the world: http://ABC4All.net/localabc4all.html
3. All of the above, with many more
examples, has been done without any funding whatsoever. ABC4All is a totally
voluntary organization, and people who are making the concepts their own and
acting appropriately are demonstrating that IT IS POSSIBLE TO BE FREE and to
execute what a local community needs, just because people are thinking about it
and taking action.
