ABOUT BILLY YASIN
Billy Yasin grew up in New Fadama, Accra-Ghana, a small suburb in the capital city of 5 thousand people. Billy states, "The experience of growing up in a small town has helped to prepare me for life after high school." A particular goal he developed was to attend a professional institution. "This experience has led me to be more open-minded and accepting of others." In Billy's view, small town life was both a blessing and a challenge in life.
Billy attended primary and junior high school at Datus Complex School. He successfully gained admission to St. John's Grammar School to pursue Business interests. He wished to enhance training he had received at the Stable Computer Training Institute where he was able to study a few courses related to computer. Billy wanted to equip himself with the basics of computer. After high school, he continued with professional education in a course for Hardware and Networking Engineer. After completing this course, Billy became a trained Hardware and Networking Qualified Professional.
Here is how Billy describes himself: "I am a unique, cultured, self-assured, compassionate and impassioned individual. I have learned to reach for the stars. I possess many qualities that have earned me the respect and admiration of my peers and educators. Throughout my educational career experience I have gained many assets and attributes. I have worked to acquire characteristics that will qualify me to make significant contributions to the world at large."
Billy further states: "I know that I am a natural born leader. People tend to look up to me. They know I am dedicated to whatever I commit to and that I will always put my best foot forward. Throughout the many leadership positions I have held, I found that people want to see confidence. They want a person who isn't afraid of speaking their mind in an intelligent manner. Being aware of this, I decided to get involved with youth and social work. In addition, I hoped to fight for the rights of both youth and the less privileged."
Billy has been involved in a variety of capacity building programs, workshops, seminars, conferences including the following:
* In 2005, he helped organize an HIV/AIDS walk across the capital city of Ghana to create awareness of HIV/AIDS and ways to prevent it.
* In 2005, he and a comrade helped create a record of people waiving at Kofi Annan on 60th anniversary of the United Nations with the UN Youth Orchestra in Germany
* He has volunteered with The Oak Tree Foundation from Australia on a documentary related to an ongoing, but outmoded practice in the volta region of GHANA called "Trokosi." Trokosi practices included sacrificing a virgin woman for an offense not committed by the woman but a family member. This woman then stays with the person in charge o the gods to serve him - that person can use her for any purpose.
In Billy's words,"In a nutshell, I am interested in helping make the world a better and safer place for all of us! My hobbies include football (sports in general), surfing the Internet, reading and thinking and helping others within my capacity when the need arises. I love traveling a lot to see the reality of life in other countries. My dream in life is to see everybody in all walks of life smiling at each other with a clear heart and mind."
TWO QUOTES FROM BILLY YASIN

THE IMPACT OF BILLY YASIN ON ABC4All
ABC4All has received a series of OUTSTANDING referrals made by Billy Yasin to other organizations and groups with whom it has been possible to establish communication. Please Click Here for a description of the some of the participation of Mr. Yasin in ABC4All.
The following is taken from another ABC4All Website:
"First Billy introduces ABC4All to The Center for Purposeful Living (CPL) http://purposeful.org. I have shared a little what that has been leading to since his original introduction... So [then] Billy has made the introduction of "Building a Better Future (BABF)" to ABC4All..What's next, Billy? I am having a suspicion there is more in store...but we will not ask... [in fact what was next was the introduction to SAVE CHILDREN NOW (SCN) and which ultimately led to the creation of "Dual Global Citizens (DGC)" which has nothing to do with the geographical location of any individual.]
INTERVIEW WITH BILLY YASIN
Recently a number of questions were posed, in interview format, so that it would be possible to share what is possible for anyone who decides to assist as an "ABC4All Mentor."
1. How did you find out about ABC4All?
I found out about ABC4All at the TakingITGlobal website.
2. Why did you join this project, especially when it was so new on the TITG website?
The aims and objectives of this organization fell in line with my personal objectives and goals in my youth work and volunteering practices in Ghana. This includes training and development of youth, working in the field of humanitarian services and entrepreneurship globally. What I am very much interested in is the training that this organization seeks to offer to members and non-members to equip them for immediate and future challenges in the quest for humanitarian services and entrepreneurship, as well as for wealth creation.
3. What is your involvement with ABC4All so far?
My involvement with ABC4All has led me to become an ABC4All Mentor and also a PanAmbassador for ABC4All to the world at large. In this way it is possible for me to share information unfolding at ABC4All with the world.
4. Would you like to be involved in any other ways?
I would like to be involved with all activities ABC4All will introduce to the world.
5. How do you see ABC4All making a difference in the world?
I see ABC4All making a difference in the world in the sense that it has created/provided all the necessary environment for sharing of information and experiences. More importantly, there is sharing of knowledge which will be very beneficial to all humanity. Also ABC4All provides solutions to difficult situations that are desperately needed in the world.
6. What personal goals do you have that will be better met if you participate with ABC4All?
Entrepreneurship, youth work and volunteering practices.
7. What activities/programs/improvements are you hoping to facilitate in your country?
I would like to undertake projects that have a global outlook and also address the most pressing global issues facing our society now. Examples are the quest for peace and the eradication of poverty.
8. In other countries? If so which ones?
The same projects as the above will apply to other countries needing assistance.
9. Generally in the world?
10. If you could sum up your experience with ABC4All so far in one or two sentences, what would you say?
My experience with ABC4All so far has so many aspects. But the most important, for me, among all the others is that one should give a humanitarian or helping hand needed by any human alive, to the best of your ability, regardless of his/her colour, race, country, gender and religion.
Thank you, Mr. Billy Yasin, for your amazing contribution to ABC4All!
